At Science Academy of Chicago, character education is an important part of who we are. SACVIBE represents the values we want our students to practice every day—in the classroom, throughout our school community, and beyond.
SACVIBE stands for Service, Accountability, Compassion, Vision, Integrity, Belonging, and Endurance. These seven core values help guide our students as they grow into responsible, caring, confident, and resilient individuals.
Through daily interactions, classroom activities, school programs, recognition, and community involvement, students are encouraged to put these values into action.
We believe strong character is developed through everyday choices: serving others, taking responsibility, showing kindness, dreaming big, doing what is right, creating a sense of belonging, and continuing to persevere when challenges arise.
At SAC, our goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to prepare them to become thoughtful leaders and positive contributors to their communities.
