We appreciate your interest in Science Academy of Chicago, and we are anticipating a full review of your candidacy. Admission procedure of Science Academy of Chicago is explained below.

1. Complete all of the forms in the application package making sure that they are signed. Return the forms with a non-refundable $40.00 application fee and a tuition deposit of $700.00, ($1,380.00 if  you have two children) which will be credited towards your annual tuition upon acceptance. The tuition deposit is refundable if applicant is not accepted to Science Academy of Chicago.

2. After you return your application, schedule your entrance exam and interview date with the office. Science Academy of Chicago should evaluate the candidate's records and interview him/her to make a decision.

In order to evaluate an applicant, Science Academy of Chicago must have:

• A report of performance from previous school. (This must be an official transcript when available. If not, copies of the most recent report cards.)

• A record of any standardized test that was taken by the applicant.
• The score of the entrance exam, which will be taken at SAC.
• An on-campus interview with the applicant.
• A copy of the applicant's birth certificate.
• Up to date health records of the applicant.

3. Upon completion of the applicant's file and an interview with the principal, the application will be reviewed.  Notification of the decision will be sent by mail in two weeks the latest after the registration date.
