Pre K-3 to 8th Grade STREAM Education

The Science Academy of Chicago (SAC)  is a non-profit, nondenominational, independent day school for students’ preschool (three years of age) through eighth grade in Mount Prospect, IL.  Our mission is to provide an accelerated STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Math) focused private education while nurturing the student as a whole in a loving and caring environment.

Preschool

In Pre-K 3 & 4, a full-day program encompasses language development, math readiness, science exploration, world studies, community, music, and arts.

Kindergarten

In kindergarten, the classroom environment encourages the growth of children’s self-esteem, their cultural, their independence and their individual strengths.

Elementary

Students are learning at accelerated levels in the arts, science, computer science, and a grade level above their current grade in mathematics

Welcome to the Science Academy of Chicago (SAC) site. I am glad you decided to look into our school. We hope it inspires you to visit us in person!

Science Academy of Chicago is a PK – 8th grade private school. SAC was established and designed to stimulate interest in STREAM (science, technology, reading, engineering art and mathematics) by providing instruction from exceptional faculty in a small and nurturing environment. Our goal at SAC is to prepare students to carry the torch of knowledge from generation to generation.

Valedictorian Angela Christie and Salutatorian Sarah Erickson are the students with the two highest grade point averages for the Class of 2019.

Angela Christie will be attending the Milwaukee School of Engineering to study Computer Engineering and Sarah Erickson will be attending St. Louis University to study Latin and chemistry.
